Men Who Love Men
Image-making
Visual IdentityA self-initiated documentary film project exploring diverse perspectives on gay identity and sexuality in German society. Led by Thomas Pirot and Nike Dieterich, the project needed a bold visual identity to support its crowdfunding campaign. At the core of the visual identity was a graphic illustration of a butt—used across posters, postcards, and other promotional material. Chosen as a symbol of gender fluidity, the image represents the body as multiple and non-binary. The visual identity played a key role in the campaign’s success, helping raise over €10,000 by drawing attention and engaging audiences.
